If you could describe a work of art, what would you say?
Art critics and art historians know a great deal about art, and
can describe even the most obscure works by transforming the visual
image into words of admiration, insight, and relevance. Here is
your opportunity to speak in your own words and critique a work
of art. Take a second to complete the form below.
As a new art critic, here are a few questions that you may ask
yourself to get started:
* What do you see in the image/
What mood does it convey?
* Does the title play an integral role to the meaning of the
work?
* Is the work of art designed to make a bold statement
or a subtle suggestion?
Have
fun with these 3 works of art, or feel free to use any
work within the galleries.
I look forward to hearing your responses.
Sincerely,
Kurtis Watkins
