The
mission of KurtisWatkins.com is to exhibit the artworks of visual
artist Kurtis Watkins, and to offer viewers the opportunity to view
art they can personally experience and own.
Kurtis
Darryl Watkins was born in Camden, NJ.
He earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Mason
Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University), and a Masters from
Morgan State University.
As a child Kurtis had a vivid imagination and spent hours creating art. He continued to create throughout his early academic career winning several notable awards and critical acclaim as a gifted and talented artist.
While creating T-shirts and portraits for clients in high school, Watkins won the opportunity to study at the Hussians School of Art and the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia. At Rutgers, Kurtis was hailed as "The Most Sought After Artist" providing his multi-talented services to produce logos, set designs, fashion trends, websites, solo art exhibits and more.
